Bidio separates required transactional communication from optional marketing consent. AutoBid maximums are private and collection addresses are restricted to authorised transaction parties.

Email verification confirms control of an email address only. It is separate from identity verification, Verified Bidder status and confirmation of a seller payout account.

Seller banking details are used for payout processing and are restricted from buyers and ordinary public views. Ordinary account screens should display only masked banking details; payment and transfer providers receive the information required to process the relevant transaction.

Operational events include limited request, payment, fulfilment, dispute and payout metadata so marketplace decisions can be explained, reconciled and audited. Sellers cannot download a bidder-marketing database.
